The Blue Room

In The Blue Room, the 3–4-year-old classroom, we will continue to emphasize independence and pride in one's accomplishments. A major component of this classroom's curriculum is cooperation and kindness. Typically, the children in this age group are learning the dynamics of socialization. They learn that friendships can be "heartwarming" but also "heartbreaking". This is a good time for us to help them navigate the waters by teaching them problem solving skills, cooperation, and most importantly, being kind to one another.

During "Circle Time" and "Centers", children will engage in activities that introduce pre-academic skills such as letter and number recognition, counting, shapes and secondary colors.

With this very active age group, it's easy to find ways keep them entertained with fun games that help develop fine and large motor skills!
