Meet The Director

Debra Messick, "Miss Deb", has been a part of The Building Blocks Family since 2015. She taught in the Green Room for six years, where her love, creativity, and teaching abilities brought smiles and reassurance to many children and families.

She took over the Director's chair in May of 2022. Those positive attributes thrive in her leadership skills and trickle throughout the halls of Building Blocks.

Building Blocks prides itself on its wonderful staff! The low teacher turnover is what helps to keep the family atmosphere so strong. Each teacher brings their own variety of experience, knowledge and loving care to further enhance our program.

The Staff continues to perfect their knowledge of Early Childhood with educational workshops throughout the year.

At Building Blocks, the teachers, together with the Director, work with families as a team to help the children grow, develop, learn, and build high self-esteem in these important early years of childhood.
