Meet Our Director, Miss Anna!
Miss Anna has been a part of the Building Blocks Family since her first son, Grayson, started in 2016 in the Green Room. When her second son, Owen, started, Anna soon followed as a part time teacher.
Anna graduated from KU and worked in the corporate world in Human Resources for 10 years. Until she came to work at Building Blocks, she didn’t realize the love she had for influencing all of those little lives.
Anna and her husband, Kipp, spend most of their time on ball fields… soccer, baseball, football, and in the winter, basketball. In their spare time, (what little there is 😂), they enjoy being with friends and family.
Meet Miss Nisha, "Block Counter" in Chief
Miss Nisha is starting her 21st year at Building Blocks. Nisha joined our Building Blocks Family as a substitute. Before long, not only did she realize she loved it, but we realized WE loved her! Miss Nisha taught in the Blue Room for 18 years, then decided maybe the office would suit her needs better.
Miss Nisha and her husband, David, have two grown children, Brittnie and Jacob, who not only were Building Blocks Kids, but also taught at The Blocks through high school and college. David and Nisha are now the proud grandparents of the adorable Trent!
You can find Miss Nisha in the office most mornings handling the books and whatever other chaos has come our way that morning!
Meet Miss Kiah, Assistant Director
Miss Kiah has been part of the Building Blocks family for 11 incredible years. For the past 9 years she has been the Lead Teacher in the Red Room. Although still a Lead Teacher in the Red Room, she will also be available to assist with communication between parents and teachers. Her calming presence, deep love for early childhood education, and unwavering dedication make her the perfect fit to help us "drive the bus"!

At Building Blocks, the teachers, together with the Director, work with families as a team to help the children grow, develop, learn, and build high self-esteem in these important early years of childhood.
